Anika Noi Rose is an American actress and performer, is an eminent brand in the entertainment world. The most famous role she has played is Tiana, Disney's first African American princess. Also, she is known for her performance in the theatre, particularly for her starring roles as Emmie Thibodeaux in Caroline or Change, the Broadway show Caroline or Change (2004) in which she was awarded the Tony Award for Best Featured actress in a Musical. She also played Beneatha Younger as part of the Broadway adaptation of A Raisin in the Sun (2014) for which she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.
